Automatic Utility Payments

The Spring Lake Improvement District now offers you the opportunity to pay your water bill on time without buying a stamp, writing a check, or getting into your car to make your payment. You will continue to receive your monthly bill, however it will be stamped “Information only…Do Not Pay.” It will then be automatically deducted from your checking account on the 5th or 12th day of each month, depending on your billing cycle.

Simply stop by the District office and fill out the bank draft form, attach a voided copy of your check, and that’s it! Close to 300 people have already signed up for this popular program. If you have any questions or concerns, contact Diane at 655-1715.

Announcements

A 15 month engineering study was recently presented to the Board of Supervisors that will form the basis for a Revised Plan of Reclamation. This plan will ensure the future retention and storage capacity of water for the District. It will be sent to the SFWMD for their approval and work on the various projects will start by the Summer.

The Breeze, our monthly community newspaper, celebrated its one year anniversary with the February edition. If you have any articles, news, or pictures you would like to include in future months, simply bring them to the District Office or e-mail them to slid115@embarqmail.com

Substantial input was received from residents on their ideas relevant to the Village I park. District personnel will begin upgrading the park in the near future, and we thank all of those who responded.
